You will need to have the desktop wallet installed – head over to the getting started page.
- Open your BitGreen Wallet
- Navigate to the “Receive” tab
- Enter information into the optional fields, and click the “Create new receiving address” button
- A dialog will be displayed with information about the created address
This public address can then be shared with others who may send you BITG, or that you may enter into an exchange to withdraw funds to your address.
You can also access your wallet addresses by navigating to File > ‘Receiving addresses’ and right clicking on an address in the list and choosing “Copy”.
Your wallet can store multiple BITG addresses.
Note: There is an underlying private key for each public address. This is like a password and should not be shared with anyone. It is not exposed to you by default.
